When I was in Brazil, Guilherme’s mom gave me a few dresses. I liked them but they aren’t usually my style: cotton, big prints with elastic waistband. However, this is an example of a very atypical dress and accessories that I pulled together into a rather satisfactory outfit! I have never been one for animal print nor for gold accessories, but I think they can mix in a chic way.
that is a fantastic dress, and i covet those melissas. isn’t brazil just the best place to buy them? they’re something like 5 times the price in london
oh, and did you manage to go vintage shopping over there .. how did you find it ..? xx
Melissa shoes in Brazil were so so much cheaper than any I’ve ever found online, I think I paid $150 and got four pairs of shoes. Vintage shopping pretty much didn’t exist, and neither did antiquing, so I didn’t end up getting anything cool!
fabulous blog! love your Melissa shoes! They’re my favorites since I was a little girl growing up in Brazil… Great pics!
