2009 in summation: Tragically, my co-op house caught fire in January. I had to move everything while it was sopping wet from the fire hoses. I saw Philip Glass in concert. I worked at the Toy Store every day. I met Gala Darling at SXSW. I had my gallery opening at Brown. I started Graduate School in San Marcos, Texas in June and commuted every day. In August, I travelled to Brazil to stay with my sweet heart for three weeks. I moved back into my co-op house in August. In the fall, I went to school full time, commuted four times per week, and worked at the toy store. I had a gallery opening in New Orleans. Ashley and I travelled to Ann Arbor for NASCO and gave a workshop presentation on vegan cooking and handed out our cookzine. I was busy every single day!

You are the most adorable person on earth! Found you from Giant Dwarf’s Twitter–she and I used to work at a toy store together! Awesome blog.

  2. Thanks, honey! I work at a toy store, too! I am the queen of Hello Kitty.
