After a few days of 70F weather, the arctic winds have shifted and now it’s 30F in the mornings! I’m taking this last chance to go all out with my winter accessories. Stay tuned for the Shocking Pink faux fur stole and matching muff tomorrow!

June 30 - Theme: Proper Hats

Oh little cloche hat! I got it for a song on ebay forever and ever ago. It was one of the first things I ever got from the 1920s and I’ve treasured it ever since. It’s got it’s own little hat stand (a taxidermy bell jar, see below) on my dressing table. This shot below is from when I lived in Oregon in 20o6.

    ah, here in the arctic cold i am giggling at the idea of the end of january being the last chance to bring out my winter duds… today the high was -20 celcius! eesh!

    i love the green with the creme, such a lovely combination.
