I normally don’t wear my aprons out, but I do love wearing them while I’m doing things around the house! :) In my view, aprons are not only insanely useful (especially to spill/mess prone gals like me ;) , but really pretty additions to anyone’s kitchen. Aprons have been worn for centuries by both sexes (and in some industries still are), and I don’t think the idea of it being a sign of “women’s drudge work” came about until more recently as there was a backlash against housework as an exclusive “career” for women. (If I make any sense… lol!)

  3. I believe I could wear and apron out, and even my head full of pincurls. I live in an older district of Warsaw, where there are many old people, probably remembering the times when the inhabitants of one building were so acquainted that they didn’t mind the apron while chatting with a friend neighbour, sitting on a bench in front of the building. *^v^*

    Your blog is so cute!
When I first started tattooing I used to wear my collection of vintage aprons and I had a business card that stated “tattoos like mom used to make” ’cause I love doing that old school style.
Keep up the great blog (I’m addicted)!
