  • Pearl and green glass earrings – made by my sister
  • Vintage lace collar
  • 1930s Velvet Dress – Buffalo Exchange (I added the buttons)
  • Striped stockings – www.sockdreams.com
  • Shiny mary janes

My flapper afro is slowly coming back…
This is how I fluff it up… by running my hands in small circles until it puffs up.

what a perfect outfit. and i love that you added the buttons! i have a 1930s velvet dress but it tore in the armpits and i have it tucked away in my closet. i miss wearing it and this dress reminds me how how soft old velvet is!

and those flapper fros are divine. i love old sheet music so much.

Argh! My hair is like 2 degrees away from being curly enough for a flapper fro. So frustrating. Yours is lovely!
