Kissing Film Still, pt. 25

When I watch movies, I always take pictures of the kissing scenes!
Ever since I met Stella Polaris earlier this year in Paris, I’ve been obsessed with watching Marlene Dietrich movies. Both women possess a remarkable grace and mysterious air about them.
These kissing scenes come from two movies: “The Devil Is a Woman” and “The Flame of New Orleans.”
The Flame of New Orleans featured fantastic headpieces. As you see, she is being kissed through her lace veil.
Dripping in lace, sequins and beads… hey now, don’t hold that cigarette too close to the finery!
It’s not the best angle to see, but she is wearing an enormous Spanish comb in her hair that sticks strait up.
I like all of these passionate embraces with long, flowing drapes in the background.
Twisted hair spiral. Throughout Devil is a Woman she wore at least two decorative combs and piles of flowers

and lipstick.

I love these posts – I am obsessed with kissing photos. I take them whenever I can. My boyfriend is quite indulgent of it, for my sake :)

Those are SOME kisses. Wow. And no longwearing lipstick then either.
