When I watch movies, I always take pictures of the kissing scenes!
I live near a giant discount grocery store that carries a strange selection of $1 double feature movies. I bought a stack of them on a whim and I’ve been slowly going through them when I’m waiting for my Netflix to arrive. For the most part, they are movies I’ve never heard of, and I select them based on if I remotely recognize any of the actors billed on the covers. These two are from a James Cagney film, The Time of Your Life (1948)
These are from the pre-code films Murder at the Vanities (1934) and Search for Beauty (1934)
This blondie is the little cutie who stars opposite from Dick Powell in the “Young and Healthy” number from 42nd Street (1933). I like how she always has crooked eyebrows.

“Hey, hey, am I interrupting you?
What ‘cha doing? Hmm?”
The little blondie’s name is Toby Wing, and she’s one of my all-time favorites! She turned up in quite a few pre-Codes. Wasn’t she gorgeous?
Oh! Thank you for telling me her name! She has been sneaking into every movie I’ve been watching lately – I was growing curious.
